The Execution of a Tyrant

Just a little under 48 hours ago, I was driving back home listening to the news on 97.5 FM. The headline was that they were speculating executing Saddam Hussein on the eve of Eid Al Adha.
Waking up on Saturday morning, I immediately switched the TV on, and there was it, the breaking news Saddam is dead. I am not sure if I was happy or sad . I certainly did not feel that all the innocent people that died on his hands were happy to see him amongst the dead.
I think executing Saddam was a very easy exit for the suffering and the turmoil he left all his nations for. I am oblivion to what is in the after-life. I am not sure if he will pay for what he's done to millions of people.
Saddam's lawyers thought that he did not receive a fair trial, that he was shoved to the ropes, that he was conspired against by the Americans. Apologise people of the law, but I do not think that any law will bring justice to the people of Iraq, Iran, Kuwait and Kurdistan.
I Don't think Saddam deserved a trial to begin with...
I think he should have been hung in a cage somewhere on public display, and every person who was affected by him would visit him and tell him what damage they were left with because of him...Saddam would not be allowed to answer, only listen...day and night...until he dies..
